Who IS Brianna S. Clark?
Lilly “Lulu” St. Blanc has a lot in common with Brianna S. Clark, the author of Cracked (as in, crack cocaine), but ahhh… how much? In one of her Instagram posts, she posed the question of life vs. fiction, which is a topic she talks about during book tours and speaking engagements; however, her main platform is the topic of addiction – the pain before, during, and after.
Brianna’s riveting, page-turning novel is a walk in the shoes of a woman who was sexually abused as a child, who climbed to career and financial success, had a family life, and then a spiral downward into the depths of addiction. And she does not hold back! But again, is this Lulu or Brianna?
Visit Brianna’s website, where you will find thought provoking photos and commentaries, and numerous essays about her past life, some of which include shame, addiction, mental illness, and sexual abuse. However, her intellect, creativity, and kindness attracted wonderful people and experiences when she was a practicing attorney, a TV journalist, and now, an author/advocate. And it doesn’t hurt that she’s beautiful on the outside as well as inside!
Cracked is available at various booksellers. Click on the buttons below.

Thank you, Brianna, for your postcard featuring this prominent statue on the mall of our Nation’s Capital. Because you\’re a proud Baltimorean and close by, I assume you get down to DC on occasion – for your work and for pleasure.
